Witty account support

Delete your Witty account

You can permanently delete your Witty account and the data associated with it either inside the app or by sending us a verified email request.

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

    Open Witty and sign in to your account.

    Open Profile and select Delete account.

  3. 3

    Confirm the deletion. Your account is removed from Witty's active systems after the request succeeds.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the app, email us from the address registered to your Witty account. Include the account email and your sign-in method so we can verify the request. Verified requests are completed within 30 days.

Data deleted with your account

  • Your account, profile, authentication record, and active Witty sessions
  • Your username, name, email address, profile image URL, account provider, and internal account identifiers
  • Your saved flashcards, dialogues, and stories
  • Your flashcard learning and review history
  • Your story ratings

Limited data that may remain

  • Anonymous diagnostic reports that are not linked to your account may remain for up to seven days.
  • Information that we are legally required to retain is kept only for the required period.
  • Aggregated or anonymized information that cannot identify or be linked to your account is not part of your account record.
  • Information controlled independently by Google, Apple, or AdMob is managed under those providers' controls and privacy policies.
